F2L recognition on Cube Resolver
Slow recognition stalls F2L. The /f2l/recognize tool lets you paint a real case on the 3D viewer, then see the insert — separate from the 41-case sheet on /f2l.
How to use the paint tool
- Open F2L Recognition.
- Paint the corner+edge pair stickers (white cross is locked).
- Set F face if needed, then Confirm.
- Pick the pair and watch the alg + 3D demo.

When to paint a case
- Hit an unfamiliar case in a real scramble — paint it back to see the insert.
- Study a case family (e.g. both pieces on U) before drilling algs.
